About

My name is Colin Wilson and I am currently a Fitness Development Major at the State University of New York at Cortland.  Through my studies at school as well as independent studies at home, I have come across several fitness theories, ideologies, philosophies, ect.  One such philosophy I happened across this summer while spending time in our nation’s capital; DC, was that of Arthur Jone’s High Intensity Training.  The book I found was entitled “The New High Intensity Training” by Ellington Darden.  Although much of the book was more for entertainment purposed, I found Arthur Jone’s ideas and concepts very intriguing.  I immediately texted my closest friend, Matt Mcconnell and explained to him the book.  After reading the book, I decided it was time to put it to the test.  I called Matt and instructed him to stop working out and to stop eating healthy; we were going for it.  As a control element, our fellow friend, Matt Struck has elected to join us in our experiment; he is already in excellent shape so hopefully we can push him to entirely new levels of fitness.

Our Mission: to understand the day to day effects of High Intensity Training as well as document the long term effects upon not only physical appearance, but physiological health.
